UBA Ghana MD/CEO, Uzoechina Molokwu Visits the University of Ghana’s First Female Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA Ghana, Uzoechina Molokwu  visited Prof. Nana Aba Amfo , the first female Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana.

The visit comes as UBA Ghana celebrates its 20th anniversary, while both the UBA Group and the University of Ghana mark their 75th anniversaries. This convergence of anniversaries provided a unique backdrop for discussions on deepening the partnership between the bank and the University.

During the visit, Uzoechina Molokwu and his team engaged in discussions with Vice Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Amfo  and the Dean of Students Prof. Rosina Kyerematen on several pivotal areas.

Uzo intimated the interest of the bank to support the University for infrastructure expansion aimed at enhancing the learning environment and facilities, contributing to the University’s vision of academic excellence.

Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Amfo , thanked the MD and his team for the visit. She praised the bank for its initiatives and promised to study the proposal and give some feedback. She noted there are areas of possible collaboration and that she will like to partner with the bank for the growth of the University.
