UBA Ghana Wins Two Awards at Marketing World Awards 2025

UBA Ghana has made a strong impression at this year’s Marketing World Awards 2025, winning two major awards that highlight the bank’s innovation and leadership.
The bank was named Best Brand in Inclusive Banking for its work in making banking services accessible to everyone. A key part of this achievement is UBA’s Braille-enabled banking solution, which allows visually impaired customers to carry out banking transactions on their own, safely and independently. This innovation shows UBA’s commitment to helping all customers and understanding their different needs.

In addition, Henry Nii Dottey, Regional Head, MCC West Africa–Anglophone & Country Head, MCC Ghana, was named Marketing Personality of the Year. This award recognises his hard work and dedication in promoting UBA’s marketing and communications strategies in Ghana.

These wins show UBA Ghana’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusion. Through initiatives like the Braille banking solution, the bank proves that innovation is not just about technology—it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
The Marketing World Awards (MWA) have, for over a decade, celebrated the most innovative and iconic brands. They highlight success stories, unique products, and excellent marketing strategies. The awards provide a platform for brands, marketers, and agencies to showcase their creativity and achievements. Guided by international standards, entries are judged by an independent panel of senior marketing experts.
